Angels
26 May 2002
by Evelyn Cresswell
I lost my keys on the beach
one closing of the day;
the wind, the sand and rapid tide
erased my hope of finding.

Then into the darkness
two flash lights; man and boy
to help me cup a miracle
of metal, shining.
