Kuba-01
The art of the Kuba tribes is described as being among Africa's finest works. Portrait figures, masks, and ceremonial objects such as goblets, boxes and bowls display a fine aesthetic sense, both in the form of the objects and in their rich and detailed decoration. I believe that the pattern of triangles is called balamwezi, the rising of the new moon. It appears in the decorative art of many of the tribes in the Congo.
