Its location will show as a red dot on the map of Africa. Click on a tribal name to take you to the regional maps. There you will get more information about the tribe.
You can use the Index to African Tribes to identify the general location of a tribe in Africa. Once you know the general region in which the tribe is located you can then examine other maps which show the location of the tribe in relation to national boundaries and major geographical features such as rivers and lakes. Note that the list above is not complete. There are many hundreds of African tribes and we have only listed the larger and more important tribes.
