| The spikiness of the long sharp thorns that are found in the deserts of Southern Africa inspired me when I developed this African font. It is intended for headings and short passages of text where you want to make a statement. It is, nevertheless, readable at font sizes as small as 10 points,
A related African font is Doorn-Body which has been designed to be legible at sizes as small as 8.5 point. The two fonts (display and body) work very well when used together in layouts.
This African font includes all upper and lower case letters, all numerals and punctuation as well as the characters used in languages such as Spanish, Portugese and French. |
